Dr. Feng Xie
Über
Feng Xie studierte von 2004-2008 Bioingenieurwesen an der Anhui University in China. Er promovierte 2015 in Biochemie und Molekularbiologie an der University of Science and Technology of China. 2015 startete er eine neue Forschungskarriere als Postdoc am Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. 2017 wurde er vom China and Germany Postdoctoral Exchange Program gefördert und wurde Postdoc-Fellow in der Gruppe von Professor Rolf Müller am Helmholtz-Institut für Pharmazeutische Forschung Saarland (HIPS). 2019 arbeitete er weiterhin als Postdoc am HIPS mit Professor Müller zusammen. Feng Xies Arbeit konzentriert sich hauptsächlich auf das genome-mining, die Charakterisierung der Biosynthesewege und die synthetische Biologie für neue aktive kleine Moleküle mit modernsten Technologien.
