Sidra Eisa graduated in pharmacy from University of Peshawar, Pakistan and after that she obtained her Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from COMSATS University, Pakistan in 2019. Her previous research was focused on organic synthesis of compounds targeting leishmanial parasite. Since December 2021, she is working as a PhD student in the department of Drug Design and Optimization at the Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Anna K. H. Hirsch. Her PhD research deals with the design and optimization of inhibitors for the anti-infective target DXS.
