Jonas Ohlrogge studied chemistry at the Technical University of Dresden. In 2021, he completed his Bachelor's degree with a thesis in organic synthesis. Starting from his master's thesis in 2023, he has been working on chemo-enzymatic strategies for the synthesis of furanolides. He continued his work on the furanolides in December 2023, when he became doctoral student in the group of Prof. Gulder at HIPS.
