Jialiang Xie obtained his bachelor's degree from Jiangxi Agricultural University and completed his master's degree at Nanchang University. In October 2024, he began his PhD research at HIPS under the supervision of Prof. Claus-Michael Lehr. His research project focuses on ROS-producing biodynamers as antibacterial agents. This project aims to explore the potential of biodynamers for non-antibiotic antibacterial therapies, particularly in photodynamic therapy.
