Ilia Olkhovskii obtained his Bachelor degree in mathematics and computer science at St. Petersburg State University in 2020 and then graduated from a Master's programme in advanced mathematics at the same university in 2022. In autumn 2022 he joined the Human-Microbe Systems Bioinformatics group at HIPS as a PhD student. His research focuses on developing and applying specialized computational tools to discover new natural products using single and multi-omics datasets.
