Francesca Maria Minotta graduated in Biology for her bachelor´s degree at the Federico II University of Naples in 2022. She then obtained her master´s degree in Environmental Sustainability and Education in 2025 at the University of Padua.

With a scholarship from the EU4EU Erasmus+ program she joined prof. Tobias Gulder group at Helmholtz-Institut für Pharmazeutische Forschung Saarland (HIPS).

Her traineeship focuses on testing two IPTG inducible promoter-systems in E. coli and cyanobacteria.
