Azat Tagirdzhanov received a Ph.D. in Mathematical Physics from St. Petersburg University. Following his Ph.D. degree, he continued as a research scientist at the Center for Algorithmic Biotechnology at St. Petersburg University. In 2022, he joined Saarland University as a postdoctoral fellow working in the NextAID project. His research focuses on developing algorithms and machine learning approaches for natural product discovery from mass spectrometry and genomic data.
