Anne studied pharmacy at Saarland University and received her license as a pharmacist in November 2024. During her practical year, she spent six months researching permeation enhancers for oral peptide delivery as part of her Master’s thesis at University College Dublin in the group of Prof. David Brayden. Since January 2025, Anne is a PhD student in Prof. Claus-Michael Lehr’s group “Drug Delivery Across Biological Barriers”. Her goal is the development of an in vitro model to mimic chronic lung infections and investigate new therapeutic approaches.
