International Conference on Anti-infectives 2025 (ICA2025)
The first International Conference on Anti-infectives (ICA2025) took place from 20–22 May 2025 in celebration of the 15th anniversary of the HIPS. We were honored to welcome researchers, clinicians, and industry representatives from around the world to Saarbrücken for three inspiring days of exchange and collaboration.
The scientific program of ICA2025 featured five thematic sessions highlighting the latest advancements in the discovery and development of anti-infectives:
- Advances in the discovery of anti-infectives
- New technologies to identify the enzymatic repertoire underlying anti-infective biosynthesis
- Understanding natural product functions in the context of the microbiome
- (Chemo)synthetic and drug design approaches towards anti-infectives
- Translational aspects into industry
