Yinkun Jiang studied biology and medicine at Jiangnan University and received his master of engineering in 2023 with a focus on microbial metabolic engineering. With a scholarship from the CSC-Foundation he started his PhD in the group of Prof. Tobias Gulder (Technical Biochemistry) at the Technical University of Dresden from January 2024.His research focuses on the discovery of novel natural products from gut complex microbiomes.
