Leidy Alejandra Gonzalez Molano
About
Leidy Alejandra Gonzalez Molano studied Biomedical Sciences from 2017-2021 at the University of Barcelona, Spain. She earned her Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from Pompeu Fabra University in 2023. Since 2023, she has been pursuing a PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Andreas Keller in the Chair for Clinical Bioinformatics. Her research focuses on developing innovative bioinformatics approaches to unravel the potential of metagenomes and their metabolome. She explores both oral and soil metagenomes for screnning novel compounds with microbiota-modulation potential.
