Julia Pham completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemistry at RWTH Aachen University, where she specialized in the synthesis of bioactive materials and polymers through various research internships. Her Master’s thesis focused on the development of light-responsive polymer–peptide conjugates for biocompatible 3D printing. Afterwards, she worked as a scientist in the synthesis laboratory of a biotechnology start-up for one year. In late 2025, she began her PhD in the research group of Prof. Dr. Alexander Titz. The focus of her work is on the synthesis and optimization of glycomimetic inhibitors as pathoblockers targeting the lectin LecA in P. aeruginosa.
