Having successfully completed her qualification as a biology laboratory assistant in 2008, Jannine Seelbach worked at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry at Saarland University until 2018. After several years at the Cornea Tissue Bank Sulzbach, she returned to research and initiated her work at the department Drug Design and Optimisation under the supervision of Prof. Anna Hirsch. Her main tasks at HIPS include performing in vitro ADME assays and toxicity testing of newly synthesized substances.
