Cassandra Kollten
About
Cassandra Kollten studied Biology at the Technical University of Dresden. During this time, she gained her first work experience at the Biotype GmbH in Dresden. In her Master's degree, she studied Biology with a focus on Health & Disease at Wageningen University in the Netherlands and received her Master of Science in 2024.
As part of the research internship of her Master's program, she returned to TU Dresden and joined Prof. Gulder's research group.
Her research focuses on genome mining and heterologous expression of biosynthetic gene clusters from Nostocales cyanobionts.
