Ahmed Amin

About

Ahmed Amin studied chemistry and microbiology at Alexandria University, Egypt. Afterwards, he moved to Taiwan and obtained his MSc in chemistry and materials science from National Central University. Later on, he spent a short period in industry and since January 2022, he is a PhD candidate at the Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland (HIPS) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Anna K. H. Hirsch. His PhD focuses on the design and synthesis of novel β-sliding clamp (DnaN) inhibitors.
