Marta graduated with summa cum laude at the Warsaw University of Technology with a degree in medicinal chemistry in 2017. Then, she gained industrial experience as a Research Associate in Medicinal Chemistry at Phenex Pharmaceuticals AG in Heidelberg, where she was involved in several drug discovery projects. Since August 2020, Marta works as a PhD student in in the group Chemical Biology of Carbohydrates of Prof. Dr. Alexander Titz. Her project aims to design and optimize new agents against multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii.
