Leila is a pharmacist and she has received her Pharm D. degree from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (Shiraz, Iran) in 2016. She has worked as a researcher at Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Center of her home university from 2017 to 2019. Since fall 2020 she works at the Biogenic Nanotherapeutics group to do her PhD. Leila's main scientific interests are drug delivery, particularly nanomedicine and biogenic/biomimetic drug delivery systems, as well as pharmacokinetics. Her PhD projects deals with antibiotic loaded nanocarriers for treatment of skin infections.
