Fawaz Dabbaghie studied biotechnology engineering at the University of Aleppo (Syria) and received his Diploma in 2015. During his Diploma, he studied as an exchange student at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg in Bonn (Germany). In 2019 he received his Master's degree in bioinformatics at Saarland University (Germany). He interned and worked as a research assistant in several research centres (CAESAR Bonn, CECAD Cologne, MPI-INF and CBI Saarbrücken). He is interested in pan-genome analysis, sequence algorithms, genome assembly, structural variations and graph theory in bioinformatics.
