Dr Stefanie Wagner


Stefanie Wagner studied biology at the Technical University Darmstadt and moved to the group of Prof. Walter Keller at the Division of Cell Biology in the Biozentrum of Basel University for her diploma thesis. During her PhD and a subsequent PostDoc in the group of Prof. Guy Cornelis, she studied the needle length control of the type three secretion injectisome in Yersinia enterocolitica and Salmonella typhymurium. In a subsequent Postdoc in the group of Prof. Jörg Hartig at Konstanz University, Stefanie worked on regulation and organization of bacterial chromosomes. In 2013, Stefanie Wagner joined the group of Jun.-Prof. Alexander Titz at HIPS as a Postdoc and works on bacterial lectins and biofilm formation.
