Dai Guangzhi studied the fungal natural products discovery and biosynthesis from 2014 to 2020 in Nanjing University in China, and received his Doctor’s degree under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tan Renxiang. Then he started the postdoctoral research in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Bian Xiaoying in Shandong University in China from 2020 to 2023. In June 2023, he was sponsored by the China and Germany Postdoctoral Exchange program as a postdoctoral fellow to join the group of Prof. Dr. Rolf Müller in Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland (HIPS). Now his work is mainly focused on genome mining of novel anti-infectives from myxobacteria and biosynthetic pathway elucidation of interesting microbial natural products.
