Arefeh received her B.Sc. in Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2015.
She graduated with a M.Sc. degree of Medical Biotechnology in 2019; focusing on Gold Nanoparticle mediated delivery of therapeutic nucleic acids to cancer cells.
In 2020 she joined the Biogenic Nanotherapeutics group at HIPS and the Pharmaceutical Biology group of Saarland University (Prof Alexandra K. Kiemer) as a PhD student to work on extracellular vesicles in infectious disease.
