Amay Ajaykumar Agrawal received his Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology from DAIICT, India and Master's degree in Molecular Bioengineering from TU Dresden, Germany. Following his Master's degree, he started as a PhD student in Drug Bioinformatics group in November, 2021. His research focuses on using explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) for detecting the causes which makes the bacteria resistant against the antibiotics. Apart from these, his research also focuses on Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) Data Analysis like genome assembly, genome annotation, variant calling and other related downstream analysis.
