Alper Yurtseven received a B.Sc. degree in biology from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, in 2019, and a M.Sc. degree in bioinformatics from University of Saarland in 2022. Following the master's degree, he started as a PhD student in the Drug Bioinformatics group at Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland. His research focuses on antimicrobial resistance detection on bacteria with machine learning.
