Hugo Scherer

About

Hugo Scherer studied pharmacy at the University of Lille in France and graduated in 2021. In parallel, he obtained his master’s degree in medicinal chemistry     also in 2021 after completing an internship at the Inserm unit 1177 on the derivatization of semisynthetic anti-infective agents.

Since October 2021, Hugo started as a PhD student at HIPS in Prof. Anna Hirsch's group. He is now involved in the Covid-19 project and his work focuses on the design and synthesis of ligands to target the exoribonuclease activity of SARS-Cov-2.
