Sandra Johannsen studied Chemistry (B.Sc.) and Medicinal and Natural Product Chemistry (M.Sc.) at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University in Hanover. She finished her studies in 2018 with her thesis on the “Synthesis of novel Aureothin-derivatives” and started as a PhD student in the same year in Prof. Anna Hirsch’s lab on the “Design and Synthesis of inhibitors of the anti-infective target DXS”.
